HGL is a compiler/interpreter suite for developing images. It features its own simple but powerful language, Lua integration, output in various formats as well as runtime input handled by plugins, and easy integration into various environments like Web servers or graphical applications. The input is taken from a source file, which has to be compiled for quick and frequent access by the interpreter. An interpreter then runs the compiled files, takes input from custom plugins (if neccessary), and outputs its result via custom plugins.
Release Notes: Refined bezier curves by calculating more points. Fixes an issue in the z instruction in svg2hgl. Fixes a crash on invalid groups in svg2hgl. The decompiler produces smaller results (fractionless floats as integers). A basic SVG image output plugin has been added. Internal code changes and bugfixes.
dd_rescue copies data from one file or block device to another. It is intended for error recovery, so by default, it doesn't abort on errors and doesn't truncate the output file. It uses large block sizes to quicken the copying, but falls back to small blocks upon encountering errors. It produces reports that allow you to keep track of bad blocks. dd_rescue features a number of optimizations, such as sparse block detection, preallocation, and Linux zerocopy (splice). It supports data protection by (multi-pass) overwriting of files or partitions with good and fast random numbers.
Release Notes: The main focus of this release has been the improvement of the status output. It has rate limiting (10/s), optional colors, and a few consistency improvements. Beyond that, there's a simple rewrite logic for write errors, and SSE2 optimized sparse detection is included.

mobiki is a small wiki engine implemented as one PHP file. It is optimized for usage with mobile devices, slim HTTP requests, and fast content delivery. It will stay small, understandable, and easy to hack (no bells or whistles).
Release Notes: This is more or less a bugfix release. It produces w3c validated HTML5 output. The logic when making HTML from text pages is changed; the different text elements no longer have interdependencies with each other. For example, the pre-formatted text is really just that, and does not break if it contains characters that introduce a list, a URL, etc. The only thing that has really been changed in usage is that external links now are opened in a new browser window or tab.

Various archive formats can be created, extracted, tested, listed, searched, compared, and repacked by patool. The advantage of patool is its simplicity in handling archive files without having to remember myriad programs and options. The archive format is determined by the file(1) program and as a fallback by the archive file extension. patool supports 7z (.7z), ACE (.ace), ADF (.adf), ALZIP (.alz), APE (.ape), AR (.a), ARC (.arc), ARJ (.arj), bzip2 (.bz2), CAB (.cab), COMPRESS (.Z), CPIO (.cpio), deb (.deb), DMS (.dms), FLAC (.flac), gzip (.gz), ISO (.iso), LRZIP (.lrz), LZH (.lha, .lzh), LZIP (.lz), LZMA (.lzma), LZOP (.lzo), RPM (.rpm), RAR (.rar), RZIP (.rz), SHN (.shn), tar (.tar), XZ (.xz), zip (.zip, .jar), and ZOO (.zoo) formats. It relies on helper applications to handle those archive formats (for example bzip2 for BZIP2 archives). The archive formats tar, zip, bzip2, and gzip are supported natively and do not require helper applications to be installed.
Release Notes: Missing modules in the Windows installer have been added. Detection of LZMA and LRZIP files with file(1) has been improved.
