The ExaScale IO (ESIO) library provides simple, high throughput input and output of structured data sets using parallel HDF5. It is designed to support reading and writing of turbulence simulation restart files, but it may be useful in other contexts. The library is written in C99 and may be used by C89 or C++ applications. A Fortran API built atop the F2003 standard ISO_C_BINDING is also available.

Highlight is a universal converter from source code to HTML, XHTML, RTF, TeX, LaTeX, SVG, BBCode, and terminal escape sequences. (X)HTML and SVG output are formatted by Cascading Style Sheets. It supports more than 170 programming languages, and includes 80 highlighting color themes. The configuration files are Lua scripts with plug-in support. The converter includes some features to provide a consistent layout of the output code.

Fix8 is a modern open source C++ FIX framework featuring complete schema driven customisation, high performance, and fast application development. The system is comprised of a compiler for generating C++ message and field encoders, decoders, and instantiation tables, a runtime library to support the generated code and framework, and a set of complete client/server test applications. For the same message, Fix8 encodes 3.2 times faster and decodes 2.3 times faster than Quickfix, an average of 2.7 times. In other words, it reduces encode latency by 69% and reduces decode latency by 56%.

Areca is a file backup system that supports data compression (zip / zip64 format) and encryption, incremental backups, FTP/SFTP file transfer, delta storage mode, and many other features. It includes a transaction mechanism, which guarantees the integrity of your backups. Two user interfaces are available: a command-line interface (useful for backup automation) and a graphical user interface (useful for backup administration).
Release Notes: Areca now attempts to locate your archives when importing backup configurations (for instance, if your backup drive letter has changed) This version fixes issues that could occur on temporary files in multi-users environment. relax is a program designed for the study of the dynamics of proteins and other macromolecules though the analysis of experimental NMR data. It supports exponential curve fitting for the calculation of the R1 and R2 relaxation rates, calculation of the NOE, reduced spectral density mapping, the Lipari and Szabo model-free analysis, study of domain motions via the N-state model (or ensemble analysis) and frame order dynamics theories using anisotropic NMR parameters such as RDCs and PCSs, the investigation of stereochemistry in dynamic ensembles, and the analysis of relaxation dispersion.

GNU Shogi plays the Game of Shogi, also known as Japanese Chess. Like GNU Chess, it can be used either through its own text-based interface, or through graphical interfaces like xshogi, tagua, omaha, or kaya.

MP3 Diags finds problems in MP3 files and helps the user fix many of them. It looks at both the audio part (VBR info, quality, normalization) and the tags containing track information (ID3). It has a tag editor, which can download album information (including cover art) from MusicBrainz and Discogs, as well as paste data from the clipboard. Track information can also be extracted from a file's name. Another component is the file renamer, which can rename files based on the fields in their ID3V2 tag (artist, track number, album, genre, etc.).
Release Notes: This unstable release adds clang compatibility and a few minor fixes and improvements. When in CLI mode, the offsets associated with notes are now shown, and the notes are sorted by these offsets. More logs and retry logic will hopefully help identify the reason a few users (apparently for no reason) run into file write errors on Windows.
Tcpreplay is a set of Unix tools which allows the editing and replaying of captured network traffic in pcap (tcpdump) format. It can be used to test a variety of passive and inline network devices, including IPS's, UTM's, routers, firewalls, and NIDS.

Pride combines bash scripts, zenity, ant, ImageMagick, and the Android tools to create a fast and simple POSIX alternative for Android development. It provides all the basic commands (clean, build, release, etc.) of other Android IDEs. But it is primarily a robust and simple injection framework. Injections from methods to clusters of activities are easily created from existing code and can then be injected into any project. Pride can also be used to batch build, load, or release multiple projects and can update class and resource files among projects that use the same objects or resources.

Aspose.Pdf is a .NET PDF component to write PDF documents without using Adobe Acrobat. It supports form field creation, document, text and page properties, color space, text, heading, and attachment settings. It lets you create PDF documents by using its API with XML templates and XSL-FO files. It also converts HTML, XSL-FO, and MS Word to PDF. The document object model in the Aspose.Pdf namespace now has the capability to create tables in PDF documents, and while generating the table, you can specify border information for table and cell objects.
