abcm2ps is a commandline program which converts ABC to sheet music in PostScript or SVG format. It is an extension of abc2ps which can handle many voices per staff.
Release Notes: Many bugs were fixed.
SymmetricDS provides file and database synchronization with support for multi-master replication, filtered synchronization, and transformation across the network in a heterogeneous environment. It supports multiple subscribers with one-direction or bi-directional, asynchronous data replication. It uses Web and database technologies to replicate data as a scheduled or near-realtime operation. The software has been designed to scale for a large number of nodes, work across low-bandwidth connections, and withstand periods of network outage. It works with most operating systems, file systems, and databases, including Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server (including Azure), IBM DB2, H2, HSQLDB, Derby, Firebird, Interbase, Informix, Greenplum, SQLite (including Android), Sybase ASE, and Sybase ASA (SQL Anywhere) databases.
Release Notes: This patch release fixes four bugs and makes six improvements. Fixes include handling large numerics and capturing "updates only" on SQL Server. Improvements include the ability to run SQL on a client before and after initial load, caching to improve performance, a column transform for accessing parameters, and UNC path support for the SQL Server bulk loader.
JasperReports is a Java reporting library. XML report templates are used to generate ready to print documents using data from customizable data sources, including JDBC. The output can be delivered to the screen, printer, or stored in PDF, HTML, XLS, RTF, CSV, and XML format.
Release Notes: This version introduces a new overflowType property for subreport elements to control subreport runtime stretch behavior. There were also various other bugfixes and improvements.
GNU FreeDink is a portable and enhanced version of the Dink Smallwood game engine. It aims at running the original game as well as its D-Mods (Dink MODules, or add-ons), with close compatibility, under new platforms. The internals of the engines are being cleaned up to allow for portability and later improvements.
Release Notes: A new, simple versioning scheme, without scary .20YYMMDD dates, and proper playing of Dink's intro screen music. FreeDinkedit now plays sounds on Windows. A Brazilian Portuguese translation was provided for the engine strings, and other translations were added. 64-bit Windows is now supported.
Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services allows you to export native Excel reports in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Unlike the built-in renderer for Excel based reports, Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services provides an extended feature set and allows RDL reports to be converted to: Excel 97-2003 binary XLS format, SpreadsheetML, or the Excel2007 XLSX format. With the Aspose.Cells Report Designer tool, users can design and deliver reports into MS Excel directly without using Visual Studio IDE.
Release Notes: Support for SQL Server 2014 was added. Developers and administrators can easily design, develop, maintain, and export reports. Performance when rendering and exporting Microsoft Excel files was enhanced, as was performance when exporting reports with large data sets and grouping and merging report data. Important issues with rendering reports were fixed. Many improvements were made to Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 file formats and conversions.
Admin is entirely written in Java. It uses Swing GUI Components and JDBC to connect to databases. It has been succesfully tested with MySQL, Derby, InstantDB, Oracle, Empress, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. You can have a tree view of the RDBMS or pick a single instance to have a look at its metadata. It allows you to create, modify, and drop tables and to create indices on a table. The dynamic form makes it easy to enter data into a certain table, and the guided query makes it easy to retrieve data from a table and to export it. Java developers will probably enjoy the code generator doing an OO relational wrapper and a swing GUI for them. There is a tool with which SQL statements can be enriched with a few commands, generating a GUI to easily select data from a DB. You can also export and import data and transport it from one DBMS to another.
Release Notes: The login window now allows you to save all parameters to a file and to load parameters from previously saved files. A Jasper Report Viewer based on Jasper classes was integrated. Database Info has been extended. You can now set a table name filter pattern, and create files using Graphviz dot notation to visualise databases. SQL Monitor offers some helpers, accessed by pressing the middle mouse button within the pick list item window.
Xpdf is a viewer for Portable Document Format (PDF) files. (These are also sometimes also called 'Acrobat' files, from the name of Adobe's PDF software.) The Xpdf project also includes a PDF text extractor, PDF-to-PostScript converter, and various other utilities. It runs under the X Window System on UNIX, VMS, and OS/2. The non-X components (pdftops, pdftotext, etc.) also run on Win32 systems, and should run on pretty much any system with a decent C++ compiler. Xpdf is designed to be small and efficient. It can use Type 1 and TrueType fonts.
Release Notes: A new text extractor, new pdftohtml and pdftopng tools, and new trapezoid-based rasterizer core (for performance).
