Release Notes: This release includes a complete rewrite of update process and code to read/save history files, a bugfix when using several tags with different offset in LogFile name, and a bugfix for a problem where creation of directories with CreateDataDirIfNotExists was made with 0766 instead of 0666. New features include the ability to track detailed minor and major version for browsers, a bandwidth report for robots and errors, support for DNS cache files for DNS lookup, plugins support and several working plugins, and the ability to use a framed report.
Release Notes: This release supports DNS cache files for DNS lookup, and support for plugins, with several working plugins including a GMT correcter, and a hash file DNS cache saver/reader. There is now the ability to use a framed report. The code to read history files was rewritten to reduce load time and memory. "Never updated" is now in the language files. The number of global vars in the code was reduced. The DefaultFile parameter now accepts several values, and a new parameter, LogSeparator, is included for log files with exotic separators. Slovak language files were also added.
Release Notes: In this release, the logfile option can be anywhere on the command line and will accept spaces in logfile names. A bug in logresolvemerge.pl was fixed, the number of dropped records for log files not 'completely' sorted was fixed, and there is a new tag for logfile: %virtualname allows the same log file to be shared for several virtual servers. A 'pipe' can now be used in the LogFile name parameter. A full list for referring search engines and refering pages was added. AWStats now reports keywords and keyphrases, along with exit pages and visit durations.
Release Notes: This release is not compatible with old history data files. If you use 4.0 to read statistics for previous months, report for "visitors" will be wrong, as all old unresolved IPs processed with AWStats 3.2 will not be counted. It also features increased speed and reduce memory use for very large web sites, and icons in the browsers chart. Unresolved IPs are now processed as if resolved. The personalized log format can now also have tab separators (not only spaces). There are new ways to manage security and privacy, with updated documentation and new parameters.
Release Notes: The AWStats history file is no longer corrupted by hits made by a search engine using a URL with URL-encoded binary chars or when a reverse DNS lookup returns a corrupted hostname. It is no longer possible to update stats from a browser using a direct URL (awstats.pl?update=1) when AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser is turned off. Various tags were added in the conf file to allow for dynamic log file names. The speed of AWStats was improved.
Release Notes: The speed of the update process has greatly increased, especially for large web sites. The speed of viewing stats from a browser has been vastly increased. The amount of memory used has been reduced. This release can analyze NCSA common log files. Other features include a list of last access and a full list of URL scores. The new parameter DirLang allows you to choose the directory for language files, and the new parameter Expires allows you to add a meta-tag EXPIRES in the HTML report page. There are new -update and -output options to update and/or output a report.
Release Notes: New features include a day of week chart, an URLWithQuery option, and the ability to specify which report will be displayed in the main page. The new HTMLHeadSection parameter allows you to add HTML code into the header report. New languages are now supported.
Release Notes: This release includes noticable speed improvements (especially for large sites), new languages, and a -noupdate option to replace update=0.
Release Notes: A daily report for pages, hits, and bytes, functionality with personalised log file formats (it also supports the Webstar native log format), no longer updating by default when stats are read from a browser, and a lot of other changes.
