BLADE is a Web-based environment similar in nature to Zope, Mason, and Midgard. What distinguishes BLADE is its underlying technology, CORBA, which permits BLADE to function with and support any programming language. Further, BLADE supports object embedding from any language into any Web page, and as such is the first enviournment to allow the embedding and communication of Perl, Python, and C objects within the same page.

Release Notes: The argument parser has been rewritten, the ability to load a hash from a string has been added, an inlink object (like treedoc's) was added, the BLADE HTML parser's performance has been tuned, an unescape function has been added, bhp now supports different page and bar titles and permissions, the themes have been modified to support search engines, and misc. other fixes and tweaks have been made.

Release Notes: BHP was rewritten from scratch. Now you can easily use the parser in your own objects and apps. A stack was added to the disp buffer to provide more flexibility. A few bugs and memory leaks were fixed. A few miscellaneous functions were added.
Release Notes: New function, blade_url_encode. BLADE-- now supports creating themes and objects in an object oriented style. Themes have been redone, an app to test themes has been created, and more example code has been included.
