blq is a Perl script that queries one or more lists, such as the MAPS RBL or MAPS DUL, to determine if a host is listed as a potential source of spam or email abuse.

    Release Notes: This release can query TXT records to display additional information on entries (-t option). It adds several new query IDs: pdl, ordb, njabl, xbl, fiveten, spamcop, and hil, and drops obsolescent orbs IDs.

      Release Notes: Support for several new block lists has been added. This includes the SBL (Spamhaus Block List), the RSL (Relay Stop List), and the OPM (Open Proxy Monitor List).

        Release Notes: zones added and zones depreciated. -a option added to display query value (an IP address) of entries encountered in the block list.

          Release Notes: Initial freshmeat posting. bql now supports multiple queries by using "blq rbl,dul" or even "blq all". The built-in set of block lists has been updated and expanded.
