Boa Constructor is a cross-platform RAD GUI-building IDE. It offers visual frame creation and manipulation, an object inspector, a debugger, integrated help, and many views on the source, including inheritance hierarchies, object methods and properties, and HTML generated from documentation strings. It is written in Python and uses the wxPython toolkit which wraps wxWindows.

Release Notes: This version features a full, stable, out of process debugger. It includes specialised Zope support like stepping though and breaking into Zope Python scripts. There were major refactorings to make most of the modules pluggable and optional, e.g. all wxPython/Zope development support can be turned off for pure Python- (or Tkinter-) centric development. All plug-ins and settings can be managed through the GUI. There were also many other improvements and fixes to the explorer, designer, and editor.
