BootUtils

BootUtils is a collection of utilities to facilitate booting of Linux 2.6-based systems. The process of finding the root volume either by label or explicit label= on the kernel command line, mounting it, and 'switchroot'ing is automated.

    Release Notes: This is the first stable release, with support for ext4 and btrfs.

      Release Notes: This release adds support for ext4 by syncing with e2fsprogs 1.41.3. Support for 64-bit platforms works now.

        Release Notes: This release adds support for initng. Parsing of the kernel command line has been fixed. Usage of incorrect headers has been fixed. A fix has been made for forcing single user mode.
