Release Notes: This release provides better rendering of nested table of contents entries, moves the pitch, rate, and volume options to a new settings tab, adds support for enabling ePub 3 Media Overlays narration, funded by the CSIR (Council for scientific and Industrial Research), tracks the currently-playing chapter/section (this only works if started from the first item), improves the accessibility of the UI, updates the UI to better align with the GNOME Music application UI, and uses symbolic icons for the buttons on the UI.
Release Notes: Remembers the voice settings (name, pitch, rate, …) between sessions. Updates the timebar after changing voice settings to reflect the new estimated read time. Selecting table of contents entries now takes you to the text instead of the blank line before the text. Maps the new Cainteoir Engine styles structure to text view formatting (GtkTextTag objects) to provide better document rendering.
Release Notes: Updates the translations and supports more languages (using the Open Source Translation Database). Switches to glib-gettextize/intltool for localization. Use a GtkBuilder UI file for most of the UI layout (requires glade >= 3.13.1 to edit). Uses C++11 range-based for loops.
Release Notes: This release displays the document text in the Document tab, supports drag-and-drop to change the open document, converts the NEWS and README files to the Markdown format, and fixes a crash when opening a document with mismatched HTML tags.
Release Notes: This release moves the recent documents into a document library pane. It improves the styling of the top and bottom bars. It improves the linked button styling on the Ambiance and Radiance themes. The metadata pane is now scrollable to handle large description text.
Release Notes: This release adds initial translations from OSTD (Open Source Translation Database), hides the titlebar when maximized on GNOME 3.4 and later, reports "Document type is not supported" when loading fails instead of clearing the currently open document, supports filtering voices by the current document's language, and fixes reading/recording section ranges (it would miss the last section).
Release Notes: This release redesigns the UI, making it consistent with the GNOME 3 application designs. It doesn't show the "unable to open document" dialog when launching the program. It will keep the previous document if opening a document fails.
Release Notes: Voices are now displayed in a list and can be selected. The voice is switched to match the document-specified language if different. Voice and engine details are shown in the information/metadata view. An error dialog is displayed if an error occurs while speaking. The recent documents dialog was made wider for GTK+ 3. Progress indicators when using the Radiance and Ambiance themes were fixed. A crash that occurred if no file was selected from the recent documents UI was fixed. Selection of the recorded file format based on file extension was fixed (previously, it was always Ogg/Vorbis). Opening of documents containing spaces was fixed.
Release Notes: This release allows you to read and record ePub, HTML, and other text documents. It can record the whole document or a range of chapters to WAV and Ogg Vorbis. Document information and table of contents can be viewed, and elapsed and total reading/recording time displayed.
