Catty is an interesting chatter bot that uses Google.com to build its knowledge database, and, having no information about the language, tries to establish a conversation. Results are not always on topic, but never predictable.

    Release Notes: A major rewrite of the engine. The knowledge database is now sorted by topics, and new HTML parsing and phrase scoring algorithms are implemented.

      Release Notes: This release adds a modified substring rating algorithm and an experimental change to the algorithm to support pseudo context-tracking in a conversation by decreasing instead of clearing sentence scores.

        Release Notes: Another nasty logic bug has been resolved; the algorithm would only check for substrings starting at the first word of each sentence.
