Release Notes: The embedded BibTeX editor incorporates a browser display mode that enhances file navigation and reference presentation. Advanced reference search capabilities are included. Several issues regarding automatic recognition and dialog functionality were addressed.
Release Notes: This release fixes several issues related to DOI and URL encoding, HTML character encoding in PubMed import, and dynamic bookmarks generation.
Release Notes: The release adds a raw clipboard data view mode, client 'download reference to' functionality, and the option to use double braces in titles. It improves the build script and install documentation. It fixes minor bugs related to pasting formatted text, reading of already HTML encoded DOIs, and updating the viewer in some particular cases.
Release Notes: This release fixes local file open on Windows and LyX pipe selection on Unix versions.
Release Notes: All known issues related to Qt3 to Qt4 migration have been addressed. Mainly, this release fixes field selection in cb2Bib panel, copying/moving files from PDFImport, and some incorrect open file dialog messages. A few minor improvements have been included. In particular, file selection dialogs display navigation history, and the BibTeX output file can be more conveniently selected from a combo list. Such a feature is especially useful to users that sort references in thematic files.
Release Notes: This release fixes a regression in the cb2Bib network capabilities. Network, and hence querying, was erratic, both for the internal HTTP routines and for external clients. In addition to this fix, the netqinf.txt has been updated. PubMed is working again. Queries are also extended to include DOI's.
Release Notes: This release has been ported from Qt3 to Qt4. Qt experienced many changes and improvements in this major release upgrade. Relevant to cb2Bib, these changes will provide a better file management, word completion, faster searches, and better desktop integration. As one might expect, major upgrades introduce new bugs that must be fixed. This 0.6.90 is actually a preview version. It has approximately the same functionality as its predecessor; no additions were considered at this point.
Release Notes: The PDFImport tool has been rewritten. It had some bugs related to copy/rename/move of processed files. The cb2Bib now only performs these file operations once a reference is accepted, e.g. once the save button is pressed. This avoids accidental movings and permits user intervention. This includes file downloading. In addition, multiple 'title' keywords in regular expressions will concatenate the captions, to accommodate cases of the form 'Title: Subtitle'. No menu entry is provided, however, as it is for the more usual cases 'Add Authors' and 'Add Editor'.
Release Notes: This release fixes some issues found regarding the internal <<NewLine>> tag on Mac OS X platforms. It is expected that cb2Bib regular expressions will be more transferable among different platforms, although some minor changes might be required for older expressions.
Release Notes: Preparser functionality through external, user-defined scripts was included. This makes it possible to use the many available conversion tools to ease reference extraction from within a cb2Bib session. Two sample scripts based on the BibUtils Package, isi2bib and ris2bib, were added. The copy/rename functionality now acknowledges the original file extension, the embedded editor has had a few minor improvements, and a contributed regexp was included.
