cdbkup performs full or incremental backups of local or remote filesystems onto CD-R(W)s. Results are stored as tarballs on single or multi-session ISO CDs. It works either interactively for multi-CD backups, or non-interactively for single-CD backups.
Release Notes: This release adds more platform independence, bzip2 compression, inclusion of mount points, and preparation of ISO images, among other things. The documentation is improved, the installation system is more flexible, and several old annoying bugs are fixed.
Release Notes: cdrstr finally appears reliable for multi-CD restores. An elusive bug dealing with backing-up an active filesystem in --test mode was fixed.
