Release Notes: All diagnostic mkisofs programs now include support for libscg and a dev= option. cdda2wav and readcd now include a -scanbus option. Better DOS support was added, and a DOS/Win32 related bug in the isoinfo program was fixed.
Release Notes: Many typos were fixed. A bug that caused cdrecord to be unable to reload the medium with notebook drives was fixed along with a problem in mkisofs that caused the -quiet option to sometimes not be quiet. Eltorito boot images are now by default sorted to the beginning of the medium. More /dev/hd devices are scanned with dev=ATAPI on Linux.
Release Notes: This version makes "-scanbus" look for 256 SCSI buses, no longer considers "Power calibration area almost full" to be an error, enhances the man pages, avoids GCC's shadowed variable warnings, adds a scgskeleton program sample to demonstrate use of libscg for highly portable SCSI transport, fixes a bug in the Win32 SPTI/ASPI interface, and adds a workaround for an SCO OpenServer C-compiler bug.
Release Notes: Better cdrecord error messages are produced for short tracks. Cdrecord now scans for 256 SCSI busses to overcome a Linux kernel design problem with USB. Better mkisofs "System ID" support was added. Better mkisofs error messages are produced for impossible multisession constraints. Two mkisofs malloc()/free() bugs were fixed. An attempt is made to deal with degenerated ISO-9660 filenames in ISO-9660:1999 mode. Win32 SPTI support was enhanced for multi Bus SCSI PCI cards.
Release Notes: This release features new options -root and -old-root for mkisofs to allow incremental backups. It tries to "fix" non standards compliant host/user names on Windows for better cdda2wav FreeDB compliance, fixes a cdrecord bug introduced with 2.01a26 with the new -toc code, and adds a workaround for a Linux USB kernel SCSI self incompatibility that caused problems with some USB drives.
Release Notes: This release features better paranoia, support for SPTI under Windows NT, and support for 'make install' on platforms that require the .exe suffix. A bug with Rick Ridge long name handling was fixed. Isoinfo now detects ElTorito disks. The dev=plextor option is now allowed in all tools. The behaviour of cdrecord was changed to make writing without using a write mode option possible.
Release Notes: This version adds better support for the ATAPI via /dev/ hd* interface that has been introduced with Linux 2.6 so that cdrecord -scanbus dev=ATA: is possible. cdrecord -scanbus dev=ASPI and cdrecord -scanbus dev=SPTI now works on Win32. For Win32, it now defaults to STPI only if on NT-5.x as there is a bug in some UDMA implementations that causes blue screens. The Mac OS X SCSI low level transport now roughly meets the interface standard.
Release Notes: This version adds a workaround to allow suid root installations to work again on Solaris 9. It fixes a bug in the Mac OS X low level SCSI code. There is the first experimental SCSI SPTI support for Windows NT. This version also fixes a bug that prevented cdrecord -toc to work on CD-ROM drives. The cdrecord CUE sheet handling code now includes PATH search. A bug in mkisofs Rock Ridge handling that caused an endless loop in multi session mode under some conditions was fixed.
Release Notes: Support for the Solaris volume management system was added. cdda2wav fixes a bug with non reentrant CD-Text functions.
Release Notes: mkisofs now supports creating Solaris x86 bootCDs. cdrecord prints a hint to -raw96r in case of a failed cue sheet. cdda2wav now uses major() to allow for Linux 2.6.
