Release Notes: A workaround for a POSIX realtime design bug was added. The man page was extended to make it clear that there are no IDE CD/DVD-writers. Minor fixes were made to allow smooth compilation with Sun Studio 8 compiler.
Release Notes: Support for DOS/DJGPP was added. The Win32 libscg low level interface was fixed. Some fixes were made for 64-bit architectures for NULL-terninated varargs function calls. A bug that caused cdrecord to core dump with microsopic FIFO size parameters was fixed. Workarounds were made for firmware bugs found in the Plextor 708.
Release Notes: This release supports BeOS shared memory and FIFO for cdda2wav and soundcard output under QNX for cdda2wav. It adds a cdda2ogg manpage and an installation script.
Release Notes: A security update was made to prevent arbitrary debug files from being written. Only debug filenames configured in /etc/default/rscsi can be used.
Release Notes: This release features better OS/2 support. It adds a new option ts=# for cdrecord and readcd to manually set the SCSI transfer size, adds source for 2 year old clone mode to allow easy copies from SVCDs, and includes better error messages for mkisofs if a path buffer overflow occurs.
Release Notes: A workaround for a Solaris 9 x86 bug that caused libscg to assume too big a possible DMA count was added. A new readcd option was included for allowiing the speed test result be based on a speed factor instead of a transfer rate in kB/s. mkisofs now creates bootable CDs using the ISO-9660:1999 standard. A problem with reading the control file for -sort was corrected.
Release Notes: Solaris users are now warned if they have /usr/ucb/ in their PATH to prevent compilation problems. A printf buffer vulnerability in scsi-remote.c was fixed, and a new version of scsi-amigaos.c was included. A file descriptor handling bug that caused CUE sheet handling to not to work as expected was fixed. A "WARNING: Stdin is connected to a terminal." message was also fixed.
Release Notes: This is mainly a security update to fix a possible root exploit that could be performed if the program is installed suid root. Use recent development versions should be used if you need a version of mkisofs with correct Rock Ridge support.
Release Notes: CDRWIN CUE sheets are now supported. A -abort option was added to reset drives that other burning programs have not released. The Plextor speedinfo SCSI command is now run in silent mode for old drives that do not support it. A problem in libscg that could cause garbage to be printed was fixed along with a bug in mkisofs that caused it to run in an endless loop if there was a '/../' in a symlink and Rock Ridge was used.
Release Notes: Audio CDs can now be written on-the-fly from a pipe. libscg now works on SCO UnixWare if it is installed SUID root. Some restructuring was also performed in preparation for further enhancements.
