    Release Notes: Test-only support for PAR files, printing the first SFV comment line in testing from blah.sfv line, a new --strippaths option, revamping --showpaths option parsing (includng addition of a relative mode), a new cmdlineglob config option, a new -Q commandline argument to show only status lines, and an alternate method of setting the verbose .cfvrc option. Python 1.6 or greater is required.

      Release Notes: A fix for a file.close() exception on -C in empty dir, mmap support for faster checksumming when not using fchksum module, handling files made by programs that add quotes to filenames, print stats about number of case differences and quoted filenames, display seperate stats per checksum file, a fix for excessive memory usage on deep recursive create mode in tree with lots of files, throwing an exception for an unaccessible dir in recursive mode, and an already existing checksum file causes a cferror rather than an immediate exit in create mode.

        Release Notes: Support for BSD-style md5 files, new raw listing output options, test.py doesn't attempt to verify against md5sum if it is not available, and no longer attempting to set user/group in make install.

          Release Notes: This release fixes the ignore case for deep (-rr) checksum files, adds gzipped checksum file support, adds a change to directory first option (-p), adds configurable renaming of bad files, and extends --version output. The makefile uses a PYTHON variable instead of hardcoded "python".

            Release Notes: This release fixes the makefile not finding pkgdir if there was no site-packages dir in the /usr/local tree, adds a -q option, makes exit status a bitwise or of the various possible error types, adds checksum file error counter/exit status, generates an error on unrecognized lines in a checksum file, and uses Longs for individual filesizes. Elapsed time output now uses .3 instead of .2 precision.

              Release Notes: This release includes fixes for reading of md5sum files that have dos eol on non-dos systems, loosened .sfv file recognition, and new command-line options, --help alias for -h and added --version.

                Release Notes: The ignore case option now always searches for the correct filename if using show unverified files mode, dir entries are cached for much faster ignore case operation, - can now be specified to use stdin/stdout for data source/destination of checksums respectively, a new -VV option has been added, errors are now printed to stderr instead of stdout, and if using the fchksum module, you now need at least v1.2.

                  Release Notes: New ignore case, fix paths, and show paths options, and a handler for csv files with the dir seperate from the file name. It also makes any absolute paths found in checksum files into relative paths.

                    Release Notes: A test suite, a fix for an 'x not in list' error when using -u and checksum file was not among the files to be tested, and exiting with non-zero status if any errors occur.

                      Release Notes: A fix for the make install-wrapper to compile after it has been installed into the target dir. The Debian package uses the standard Debian Python postinst/prerm scripts.
