    Release Notes: The tokens can be queried directly from a MySQL database. Training can be done by forwarding the email as an attachment. New directives were added to fight image and PDF spam. Syslog messages were unified. The inverse chi-square implementation was enhanced. The parser algorithm was improved. Spam quarantine was improved. Iterative training support was added. The hash_db backend was removed. A numeric token format was added.

      Release Notes: The openssl/evp.h inclusion was removed. A shell script for adding users to the spam quarantine was added. A Content-Type related issue was fixed. A single token hash is used if there are very few phrases. Some signed-unsigned compile time warnings on the x64 platform were fixed. Counting junk characters is skipped if there are iso-8859-2 letters. SQL files were merged into db.sql.

        Release Notes: This release adds a new feature to fight embedded image spam, unifies the syslog messages, adds an option to let the user drop incoming spam (it may be useful to prevent _outgoing_ spam), improves the chi square function, excludes more header fields through the parser, makes minor enhancements to the spam quarantine, and lets the user exclude neutral tokens with the exclusion_radius directive.

          Release Notes: Spam can now be marked in the subject line too. Image/word spam can be recognized via external applications such as gocr/netpbm and catdoc. Images can be penalized by assigning a special spammy token to avoid unnecessary OCR processes. Maildir support was added for creating the token database. Paging is available in the spam quarantine. The blackhole feature no longer uses MySQL. The memory hash db now has a smaller footprint. Binary messages (particularly those containing NUL characters) are now handled properly. The CDB_File Perl module is no longer required.

              Release Notes: A problem caused by emails containing NUL characters was fixed. A paging option and common header links to the spam quarantine were added. A possible looping problem in the spam quarantine was fixed. The hash_db memory table now has a smaller footprint.

                Release Notes: Multiple header lines can be inserted into spam messages. Active Directory support was added via openldap. Spam can be directed to a different SMTP server. The spamdrop utility was created, and can be used with an LDA such as maildrop. It can also connect to a MySQL server via unix domain socket. The surbl code was modified to prevent unnecessary lookups. The configure script has better mysql handling. The ESF code is disabled by default. You may adjust these variables for your needs. The the chi-square implementation of the GNU GSL library is used if available. The invalid_junk_characters array was extended.

                  Release Notes: The inject_mail() function was modified to properly handle binary messages. The CGI utilities were modified to work correctly with an LDAP directory. Active Directory support and documentation was added. Spam can be redirected to a specific mail server as an external spam quarantine.

                    Release Notes: The surbl code has been modified to eliminate unnecessary DNS lookups. The MySQL server is available via a Unix domain socket. The configure script has better MySQL checking. The spamdrop utility, suitable for spam decision in maildrop scripts on the MUA side, has been created.

                      Release Notes: This release adds support for the GSL library using the chi square function. The surbl code has been enhanced. It's able to mark your message as spam if it contains at least a given number of bad URLs listed on URI RBL lists.
