dagrab is a command line driven tool for extracting digital audio from cd. It works great with IDE drives (and others type too if the kernel supports digital audio read for them, I think this does not include SCSI drives for now), and supports jitter correction, filters and audio post-processing,as well as CDDB to automatically name your files appropriately.
Release Notes: A few bugs were fixed. CDDB support was improved, and dagrab can now embed author, title, and album both in filenames and filter commands. A few scripts were added to automate mp3 encoding, which also set ID3 tags if the required Perl module is found.
Release Notes: A fix for a bug that prevents the use of filenames with slashes.
Release Notes: Better error reporting, a few bug fixes, and the default CDDB server has been changed to a working and free one.
