DocTaur is a Web-based searchable directory of reference manuals. You can freely download, install, and administrate it on your local Linux intranet server. It is powered by the ht://Dig search engine and contains reference manuals for developers.

    Release Notes: The manuals set was changed: MySQL and Perl Tutorial Book were updated, Regular expressions Tutorial was added. and the Netscape Javascript guide was removed. Saving of the folders tree by a cookie was added; this is the main new feature. Some language corrections in help pages and some small changes and bugfixes were made. The tar.bz2 format of source was added.

      Release Notes: The PHP manual was updated. The "About DocTaur" page was added. Some small changes and bugfixes were made.

        Release Notes: The MySQL and BASH manuals were updated, dynamic javascript folders were added, the searching in one manual is now possible, the update process is safer, and other small changes are included.

          Release Notes: Installation doesn't rewrite the file 'messages.txt' if it exists. There are some design changes and code rewrites (it's a bit OO now). Some manuals have been added and some updated. The search form has been simplified. The file .dt_version was added. Some bugs have been corrected, and there are some language corrections.

            Release Notes: Compatibility with Red Hat 9. Better error messages during installation. Creation of the search database is quicker now. Slight face changes. Documentation structure changed, some documentation added, deleted, and updated. Licence changed to the GPL. The 'back logo' has been fixed. Login redirection corrected. Light version removed; only the full version is available now.
