Release Notes: The new system based on FFC and PETSc is now in place: variational forms are evaluated through FFC and the linear algebra is handled by a new set of easy-to-use C++ wrappers for PETSc (but far from complete). Only the Poisson module has been moved to the new system, but more modules will follow. Other important changes include the addition of mono-adaptive cG(q) and dG(q) ODE-solvers that can also handle implicit and complex ODEs. A homotopy solver that automatically generates the homotopy for a given (polynomial) nonlinear system has also been added.

The multi-adaptive solver has also undergone a number of important optimizations, resulting in a speed-up of a factor 40 for the benchmark problem. Support has also been added for saving vectors and (sparse) matrices from Octave/Matlab to the DOLFIN XML format.
