Release Notes: Support for generating HTML documentation pages for individual class or file members was added. A new \subpage command has been added to allow the creation of a hierarchy of documentation pages in a more convenient way. The first-pass parser for comment blocks has been rewritten to make handling of structural commands such as \class and \section easier and more consistent and to serve as a first step towards supporting alternative language parsers. As always, a large number of bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: Support has been added for generating group and directory dependency graphs. Memory usage has been reduced. A new command \cond for conditional sections was added. The \f command for including LaTeX formulas has been generalized to support any TeX environment. An option has been added for producing transparent dot images. This release can use an external tool or script to obtain version information per file. Many bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: This release fixes a couple of bugs found in version 1.3.9.
Release Notes: Files are now grouped in directories, and directories are by default part of the documentation. Search results are better sorted on relevance. Support has been added for PHP 5, and support for Objective-C has been further improved. The HTML output has a more consistent look, and numbering of nested lists has improved. Many bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: The GUI frontend was rewritten to make it easier to configure and run doxygen in a graphical environment. User- defined filters can now be selected based on file name patterns. A couple of minor features have been added as well and a large number of bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: This release improves support for Objective-C and adds support for Qt properties. There is now an option to avoid generating all output files in one directory. A number of smaller features have been added as well, and a large number of bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: This release adds initial support for the programming languages Objective-C and D. It optimizes the link search algorithm, which should remove the performance decrease some people observed in the previous release. C comments inside defines are now preserved, as are tabs in the XML output of code fragments. Many bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: Dot images are now regenerated only if they change. Support for parsing pre-ANSI K&R style C code was added. Some minor enhancements to the XML output were made. The source code is now searchable via the new PHP-based search engine. A large number of bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: The search engine doxywizard has been replaced by a PHP script that is generated by doxygen. This simplifies setting up the search facility. The routine that turns names into links has changed. This can significantly speed up doxygen in projects with many namespaces, typedefs, or Java packages, and also prevents wrong links in a number of cases. Dot graphs can now be put inside a comment block. A number of bugs have been fixed as well.
