Easylzma is a C library and command line tools for LZMA compression and decompression. It uses Igor Pavlov's reference implementation and SDK. It is meant to be a tiny wrapper and portable build system around a subset of Igor Pavlov's LZMA compression and decompression implementation. The API is small and intended to be straightforward. The project aims to support multiple different prominent LZMA file formats and is focused on producing something that is easy to build and use everywhere.

Release Notes: Progress callbacks during compression have been added. There is a heuristic determination of a nice balanced dictionary size that provides near-optimal compression at reasonably low memory usage. A typo was fixed to allow correct usage from c++ code. Also included are many improvements in command line compression tools, as well as support for both lzip and "LZMA alone" file formats.
Release Notes: This initial implementation provides dynamic and static libraries and command line utilities for compression and decompression. It is pre-alpha code, a developer preview.
