edtFTPnet/Compact is an FTP library for the .NET Compact Framework. It will run on all mobile devices that support the CF, including PocketPC and Windows CE. It includes support for active and passive transfer modes, SOCKS and HTTP proxies, extensive event monitoring, directory transfers, and transfer resumption. HTTP downloads are also supported.

Release Notes: AutoPassiveSubstitution was made to work for proxies. All exceptions are ensured to be serializable. Tweaks were made to UnixFileParser to support more formats. A bug in active mode FTP/FTPS where zero timeout was not infinite was fixed. If a server doesn't support REST, resuming simply overwrites rather than failing. The default encoding for the FTP control channel is now set to Windows-1252 rather than US-ASCII. Other processes are allowed to read a file that is being uploaded. FTPConnection now permits UserName to be changed when connected. A resume download bug was fixed.
Release Notes: The demo was tweaked so it works properly on small screens (e.g. mobile phones). Support was added for MODE Z for FTP transfers, enabling on the fly compression when connecting to servers supporting MODE Z. A synchronization how-to was added. Various synchronization bugs were fixed. The ability to throttle transfer rate to a set maximum bytes/sec was added. Optional file integrity checking after transfers was added, using CRC checks if supported by the server, otherwise size.
Release Notes: This release adds RollingFileAppender, FXP support, and automatic retry of transfers. It has refactored directory listing parsing. FTPRemoteFileList now uses a different icon for symlinks, and allows navigating them. Synchronize now creates empty directories. There is support for a BytesTransferred event during directory listings. A problem where server replies had embedded \r chars has been fixed. A problem with the Microsoft ISA HTTP proxy has been fixed. A bug has been fixed where on resuming an FTP transfer, the local file was locked.
