Release Notes: New whitespace markup has been introduced (TABs for indentation and empty lines for preformatted text). Fixes have been made in the default example configuration script, and the binary upload functions now work correctly again. The text constants have been replaced with an array and access function for easier translation. PhpWiki 1.3 databases are now fully supported (from within ewiki, but also with the powerful ewikictl commandline utility), but write access must be explicitly enabled. The new plugins are page_interwikimap, page_wantedpages, page_wikiuserlogin, and aview_linktree.
Release Notes: The emailprotect security leak was fixed and new markup for link entitling and page anchors was introduced. International chars are now reconverted, PhpWiki13 escaping is supported, and titles can be split. Browsers are redirected after saving and the database format changed slightly. New plugins are the db_phpwiki13 (read-only), page_since_updates, downloads, downloads_view, mime_magic, page_aboutplugins, page_scandisk, diff_gnu, notify, and listpages_br. The powerful ewikictl utility was added. The db_fast_files plugin was merged into db_flat_files and version holes were allowed.
Release Notes: Various bugfixes and additions have been made, though this release is just an unstable snapshot. PATH_INFO is now discarded if an Apache HTTP server is running, because Apache still follows the broken CGI/1.1 specification.
Release Notes: This release fixes the PHP 4.1 compatibility bug in db_flat_files, as well as the PATH_INFO bug of Apache+PHP-CGI, and the repeated $ewiki_author string reconcatenation.
Release Notes: This release adds plugins for footnotes and for PhpWiki, sfWiki, and Miki markup emulation, PageIndex, ImageGallery, PowerSearch, and mpi_multimedia plugins, a new tool to reimport saved wiki pages, and new init-pages in German. The backup tool can now save in different formats. The HTTP header Content-Disposition: is now emitted and the From: request header is used for $author. The main script can now be called in ISINDEX style. Speed has been enhanced by the fixing of the doubled FIND database query. HTML output is now lowercase. URL encoding is now configurable (for PATH_INFO).
Release Notes: Markup for tables is now included and multiple bugfixes regarding HTML preserving were made. The simple variant of InterWiki links was implemented. The db_flat_files interface now utilizes the newly introduced general plugin interface, which allows extension of ewiki while the core remains in just one script. The plugin interface further collapses different configuration variables. Chars that are allowed in page names are now configurable (for localization purposes). Some markup/inline plugins were backported from a new (ewiki-based) partner project.
Release Notes: A binary-safe flat files (rfc822 style) database backend was added. It is almost as featureful as the MySQL version and allows image caching and uploading. A new example illustrates how to cripple the wiki with external authentication for usage as a private homepage CMS. More configuration constants were added. A database diagnosis (wiki page flags) and removal tool was added. Image caching is now implemented (but disabled by default) and images which are too large will now get downscaled automatically. There is new markup for definition lists and small text.
