Release Notes: This release changes the ROM format for compatibility with files in the Debian package SPECTRUM-ROMS. A new icon has been added.
Release Notes: The code is now completely free, thanks to a new Z80 emulator written from scratch. It now emulates the Spanish 128K. Either ALSA or OSS can be used for sound output. The volume settings are now stored. The program can be run from the local directory, without installing in /usr. A bug in the sound with some soundcards was fixed.
Release Notes: It is now possible to switch between window and full-screen mode. A TURBO mode was added for loading TZX files faster. FBZX is now displayed in the window title.
Release Notes: The current mode (spectrum type, joystick...) is now stored and is restored the next time the program is launched. This allows you to close the emulator by clicking on the X button in the window bar. You may now put the screen in "double scanline" mode. If the program can't gain access to the sound, it will start without it instead of failing.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug when loading .Z80 snapshots. It adds support for .SNA snapshots and support for Joysticks. It creates an entry in the GNOME/KDE menus. It can load snapshots or tapes from the command line. It allows the file extensions .SNA, .Z80, .TAP, and .TZX to be associated with it.
Release Notes: Fixes a bug in the creation of 128K snapshots. Fixes the memory access ports in 128K mode.
Release Notes: This release fixes a stupid bug that could crash FBZX. It adds support for rotated 480x640 screens (like PDAs). It adds direct support for 8, 16, 24, and 32 bpp (more performance), contended memory emulation, support for ',' and '.' keys, a fullscreen X11 mode, a picture with the keyboard layout, and support for computers without function keys. It asks for confirmation before exiting. The version number has been fixed.
Release Notes: The code now compiles without modifications under BIG ENDIAN architectures (like PowerPC).
Release Notes: This version adds the ability to create .TAP files and save to them. It adds Interface I and Microdrive emulation (both load and save), SNOW effect emulation, and emulation of the DELETE key. There are some little bugfixes.
Release Notes: Support for TZX files was improved. The support in version 1.2 was very limited due to a bug.
