GammaMOO is a fork of the LambdaMOO server with numerous cleaned-up patches and modern MOO functionality. This currently includes multicore support, object caching and other acceleration features, enhanced file I/O, UTF support, new built-in data types, and stability improvements with 64-bit support in progress.

        Release Notes: server_version() now takes an argument so that information about the server build can be available in-db. Wizards can create "network" connections entirely within the MOO using new built-in functions. Also added were support for bitshift and bitwise operators, scattering in 'for' statements, and the use of different hashing algorithms from libgcrypt. Initial 64-bit support was added. There were numerous other enhancements and bugfixes.
