Release Notes: This is a feature release, adding PostgreSQL as the third officially supported database (in addition to MySQL and MS SQL). It also implements a more user-friendly approach to expiring CSRF tokens so that you no longer risk losing data due to an expired token.
Release Notes: This is a recommended update for all users of Geeklog 1.6.0, since it fixes several issues in that release (e.g. comment handling). It also introduces several new features, such as support for meta tags, timezone support per user, the ability to define one featured story per topic, new autotags to embed polls in articles, and more.
Release Notes: This release addresses two security issues, an XSS in the forms used to email a user and to email a story to a friend, and a problem with the "Mail Story to a Friend" function not checking story permissions, so that it was possible to email a story even if you didn't have permission to view it on the site. Other fixes have been added for a SQL error when submitting a story when the story submission queue is off, and for calls to the nonexistent function COM_outputMessageAndAbort.
Release Notes: This release includes the results of successful students from the 2008 Google Summer of Code (site migration, plugin upload, improved search, and various comment improvements) as well as the new XMLSitemap plugin, FCKeditor 188.8.131.52, and more.
Release Notes: This is a maintenance release for the 1.5.x series. It addresses some minor bugs and adds some new features, mostly "under the hood".
Release Notes: Some potential XSS issues have been fixed, along with hardening the email utility and verifying that post data isn't faked.
Release Notes: A notification email can now be sent when a new story, link, or event has been submitted or a new user has registered with the site. Following the "X stories in last 24 hours" link in the What's New block will now display just those new stories. User photos are now resized, just like images in stories. The plugin menu now lists all plugins which exist in the file system but haven't been installed yet. It also provides a link to the install script of those plugins for easy installation. Several new config variables have been added to config.php. Quite a few minor theme changes were made.
Release Notes: Images in articles can now be resized automatically, a static page can now be used as the home page, user registration can be moderated, submission queues can be switched off, the
and
tags now indicate source code, an enhanced links section was added, and anonymous users can now be blocked from almost every part of the site. A GeekLog site can now be disabled easily, and changes were made to the themes. Several localization and permission fixes were made. $_CONF['site_admin_url'] is now used properly, and the RDF parser was enhanced.
Release Notes: Probably the most notable feature is the ability to include images within articles. A couple of new themes have also been included, and a lot of bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: Support for image uploads to articles, inclusion of Static Pages Plug-in for Geeklog, HTML/Template improvements, and major bugfixes.
