Release Notes: Support for extracting from zip and autopackage format archives was added. When multiple GPG keys need to be confirmed, the dialog boxes are now queued correctly. The packaging documentation has been extended to show how to publish Inkscape's binary RPM with Zero Install so that it will be installable without root access and will work on other systems (such as Debian).

Release Notes: Support for "recipes" was added, making it easier to patch existing binary archives without hosting the whole result yourself. It may also help when porting klik packages. Support for SHA256 secure hashes on manifests is now provided. Programs can specify the range of versions of a library that they support and the injector will choose one within the range. Debian packages can be unpacked. Many other small improvements were made.

Release Notes: The GUI now provides an interface for removing old versions from the cache easily. Icons are downloaded and displayed in the GUI. Unrecognised XML elements in interfaces are stored in the model as metadata, and can therefore be used from programs. The injector is now roughly twice as fast as the previous version.

Release Notes: A copy of the GUI is included in the main archive so that console mode isn't needed on the first run. GPG signatures can be placed in an XML comment so that signed interfaces are still well-formed XML (and can be styled with XSLT, for example). Support was added for downloading with FTP, not just HTTP, and for extracting from RPMs, not just tarballs. If plash is installed, it is used to sandbox the extraction process as an extra layer of security (to protect against bugs in tar or cpio).

Release Notes: Remote feeds are now fully supported. This means that people providing binaries can host their own interface files, which are linked from the master one. The correct feed will be used for the user's platform.

Release Notes: The injector can now automatically select the best binary package for your platform. Default values for environment variables can be specified. The trust confirmation box provides more useful information to help you decide whether to trust a new GPG key.

Release Notes: This release adds support for interfaces which provide multiple binaries (e.g., svn and svnadmin). 0alias can now create launchers for local interfaces. Release dates are now shown in the GUI. Various bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: Local interface files can be run directly or registered as an extra source of versions (allowing you to make a CVS copy appear on the list of available versions easily, for example). Extra system cache directories can be listed, allowing easier sharing of downloads. A bug in the detection of the version of tar was fixed. Mandrake and SuSE RPMs are now available.

Release Notes: Upgrading the GUI is now done by the GUI itself if possible. This also prevents the problem where checking for updates to the GUI couldn't be skipped easily. When checking for updates, it now updates all interfaces at once so that the dialog is seen less often. As a short-cut, the --gui option can be used without an argument to edit the policy for the GUI itself.
