ircII is the other original popular UNIX IRC client. It has a full screen, termcap-based interface to connect to and communicate via Internet Relay Chat servers.

Release Notes: Some further problems were found with the CAST-128 encryption that made it extremely difficult to interoperate with other clients. This new version is incompatible with the earlier versions again, due to one of the bugs being in key generation. There are also some minor enhancements to the ICB support.
