Release Notes: A lot of new functionality has been added and many bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: The size of the edit emulator window was fixed. The emulator script is no longer called with a doubled path. Files with wrong case can now be found. Files with trailing spaces can now be found.
Release Notes: Bugs have been fixed. A second import (fallback) method has been added so that Access databases with inconsistencies can be imported (e.g. GameBase Amiga 1.6). The database toolbox has been rewritten so that Access databases can be imported step by step. jGameBase and the demo database have been separated. When no database is found, a Web browser is opened with the download location of (j)GameBase databases. jGameBase Version management has been simplified.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. The first bug prevented plugins from getting loaded from the jar, and the second bug was that "Additional Extras" got created in the wrong path.
Release Notes: An occasional database hang has been fixed. The jToolbox is no longer needed. jGameBase now observes the File System Hierarchy Standard (FHS). You can now specify multiple paths for all objects (and default paths have been added). Support for RAR and 7Zip compressed files has been implemented.
Release Notes: This is mostly a bugfix release. A new feature was added to "Additional Extras": in the first "Extras"-Path a "Additional" directory is created, containing a "by-id" and a "by-name" directory. Under "by-id" a directory is created for each game (e.g. 00100). Under "by-name" a softlink to this directory with the game name is created. You can place material such as longplays or manuals there and select "Tool -> Sync Additional Extras" and your additional extras will be added to the database (or deleted if you removed the file). Additional extras are marked by a "+" in front of their name in the Extras popup.
