Release Notes: The code has been upgraded to ANSI-compliant standards. The code only depends on the ANSI C library header, except for nanosleep(), required for libmw3-x11, and uses libtiff, libjpeg, and libX11. The compilation process is now handled by make. Thousands of bugs have been fixed, mostly related to the relaxed K&R C syntax. The 'checkmodules' partial test suite runs without any error. This version has been tested on various Linux distributions. It only runs on 32-bit systems, and the build process is not adapted to OS X or Cygwin environments.
Release Notes: This major upgrade includes a new light pre-processor that is compatible with recent Linux distributions.
