The new version of MissionX has been released. Here's a list of what's new and the minimum requirements. Download and enjoy! Minimum requirements: (Very low, low, medium graphics quality) Windows XP/Vista/7 (both x86 or x64 versions are supported), Linux x86 (game tested on debian and ubuntu), Mac OSX (not tested) 1 GHz CPU (Intel Pentium 3 or AMD K7) 512 Mb RAM 64 Mb video card with OpenGL 1.2 support (Intel GMA 945, nVidia Geforce 4 mx series, ATI radeon 8000 series) 250 Mb free space on hard drive Recommended configuration: (High graphics quality) 2 GHz CPU (Intel Pentium 4 or AMD K8) 1 Gb RAM 128 Mb video card with OpenGL 1.5 support (Geforce FX series, ATI radeon 9600) Warning: if your computer doesn't meet the recommended configuration and you force high graphics quality, the game may perform poorly or crash. In case of doubt, choose Auto and let MissionX choose for you! New Stuff: * Game Engine updated to version 4.5 * Performance improvements * Improved compatibility (see requirements for details) * Support for any 4:3 resolution * Added automatic graphics quality selection * Added low resolution textures for netbooks and old computers (see requirements for details) * Fixed a bug that caused the destroyer powerup to destroy all enemies in the whole game when the game is running at less than 30 FPS * Fixed bug that caused the fourth level boss to take more damage when the game is running low on FPS * Removed Wav support to improve compatibility and performance * Minor fixes and changes Known issues: * Linux: there is no sound if MP3 support is not installed (gstreamer must be installed) * Linux: On some video cards the size of the window is wrong and the game is drawn in a corner of the screen (seems to be a bug with lwjgl libs)

Minor fixes and changes.

      Release Notes: Performance improvements, support for HTTP proxies in the auto updater, Improved support for mods, an update to JRE version 6u20, experimental, untested support for Mac OS X, an update to LWJGL version 2.4.2, a new splash screen, and minor changes and fixes.

        Release Notes: A bug preventing the game from starting when using ATI 10.x drivers has been fixed. A new level, two new bosses, and credits for destroying Marcon have been added. Gamepad support for Linux has been fixed. A bug that caused slowdowns and crashes in levels 3 and 4 has been fixed. There are three new songs and some graphical enhancements. Memory usage has been reduced by up to 50% as compared to Alpha 9, and there are other minor changes and fixes.
