Release Notes: The code was updated to compile with gcc-4.3, and several deprecation warnings were eliminated. The text was set to wrap in the info/license display and a smaller window is used for smaller screens.
Release Notes: This release fixed a possible problem with Slackware graphical login, which uses an initdefault of 4 in inittab. A separate Slackware package and a binary without the FLTK dependency are now available.
Release Notes: This release adds support for ATI's flgrx_xgamma, which overrides xgamma when their proprietary drivers are installed. In other words, if you are using ATI's drivers for Radeon chip cards, Monica should now work for you.
Release Notes: The color patches were tweaked to make them easier to use by putting the solid section inside and eliminating gray inner borders. The grayscale ramp was reintroduced as it alerts users to the fact that their bit depth is set too low.
Release Notes: This release now writes proper values to ~/.monicarc.
Release Notes: Split-level color patches were added for setting individual colors to a 2.2 gamma. A Black Point target was added, and color ramps were removed because they were useless unless your color was way off. Buttons were added alongside sliders for fine-tuning gamma adjustments. A How To section was included in the info file. The code was cleaned up, compilation warnings were eliminated, and more comments were added. The tooltips should now be more explicit and plentiful.
Release Notes: Switching between sliders to alter gamma was simplified, especially for fine-tuning with arrow keys. Slider tooltips that explain this were added.
Release Notes: This version features sanity checks, better user feedback, and UI tweaks.
Release Notes: A more robust search for bash init files in the home directory was implemented for graphical login users. ~/.bash_login and ~/.profile are now included along with ~/.bash_profile to ensure the program is run on startup. The code was modularized to make it more cleanly find startup files and to ease further development to include users of csh shell. The ~/.monicarc file now lists the file calling it on startup as a comment.
Release Notes: A Slackware package is now available. 2.2 gamma image was added to aid setting of overall gamma. The UI was cleaned up to scale better. Support was started for adding a monica (xgamma) setting to the startup for users of graphical login managers as well as those using xinitrc.
