Release Notes: This release has a few new features. The Regexp mode has been added for searching and replacing. The "Binary to decimal" function has been added. Other changes include more UI tweaks for small-screen devices, a UI redesign of the Tune page, and many fixes and small improvements (for example, all dynamic menus (such as Snippets or Scripts) can be torn off).
Release Notes: Sound effects support was added. The effects are provided by the backend. For example, the GStreamer backend has the 10-band equalizer and others. You can use them by creating effect chains, saving them as presets, and more. In the Win32 port, effects are currently disabled due to some instability issues. In other news, song information is displayed in a hint over the traybar, and some other small features and fixes were made.
Release Notes: The "Functions - Text Lyrics" menu item fetches lyrics automatically. The file manager now supports the drag and drop from Neformal to the outside. The user can add custom MIME-types into the mime.txt file.

Neformal now uses a custom tag-reading library to support MP3 tags on Linux and Windows. Phonon::Xine-backend compatibility has been gained. Neformal now remembers the last played file, not only the directory. The "View - Previous charset" menu item has been added, which is useful for the cycled switching between two charsets. Command line handling was added.
