Nuvie is an open source engine for Ultima 6, Martian Dreams, and The Savage Empire. It uses the original data files from the games.

Release Notes: Adds the U6 end game sequence. Adds in-game menus where you can change many options without editing the cfg file. Fixes a lot of bugs. Many improvements to the new UI modes. Adds new game UI styles (original+ and original+ full map). Adds new custom paper doll gumps and custom actor tiles. More work on the Worlds of Ultima games.
Release Notes: Ultima 6 is now fully playable from start to finish in Nuvie. Work has also been done on a new fullscreen UI system that is similar to the one found in Ultima 7.
Release Notes: This release adds a bootup introduction sequence, an introduction sequence, a gypsy character creation sequence, acknowledgements, a main menu, trap effects, lens animation, balloon/raft movement, a ship's cannon, double-handed weapons in inventory, ship combat logic (party flees in raft when ship is destroyed), fade-out of magical creatures when they die, powder kegs, use of a lockpick, remembering the previous attack target when attacking with a player, and numerous bugfixes.
Release Notes: All 81 magic spells were added. A GUI spellbook selector was added. Crystal ball logic was added. Staff logic was added. Storm cloak logic was added. Regeneration ring healing was added. Party magic points are restored over time. Player alcohol level is decreased over time. Lit torches now burn out. A chance was added that the storm cloak and invisibility/regeneration rings disappear over time. Correct moonstone/moongate logic was added. Spin was added to certain combat projectiles. Acid slugs can now dissolve metal objects when attacking. Gremlins now steal food when attacking. The brawling worktype was added. Numerous bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This release is focused on Ultima 6 support and implements most of the original game logic.
