Pftpd is an implementation of an anonymous FTP daemon written from scratch. It uses multithreading (where available) in order to be lightweight, but still have high performance.

Release Notes: The maximum number of concurrent connections is now limited (throttled) to a fraction of the maximum number of file descriptors to avoid running out of file descriptors when many connections are active.
Release Notes: Mostly minor cleanups and fixes were made. Pftpd now seems to be stable enough to warrant a version 1.0 release. One of the fixes makes it possible to request DIR listings on files and not just on directories. Note that the default paths have been modified slightly.
