Release Notes: The highlights of 4.0B3 are Java support, new build system (for UNIX), support for multi-dimensional get/post/cookie data, object (de)serialization, AOLserver support and a new and faster way of passing function parameters is now used by the bundled extensions. There is of course a ton of other bug fixes and improvements too.
Release Notes: This version provides a lot of fixes, migrated modules and several enhancements over Beta 1. All users of version 4.0 are encouraged to upgrade to the new beta, and everobody else is invited to take a look at it.
Release Notes: The long awaited PHP 4.0 beta is here. PHP now incorporates the Zend engine. PHP 4.0 is truly platform independent, and is portable across operating systems and different Web servers.
Release Notes: Hot on the heels of 3.0.10, along comes another release to fix a few problems on Windows (older versions of Windows 95) and some Unix platforms (FreeBSD and some APXS configurations).
Release Notes: Many more bug fixes, including the last of the fsockopen() and URL fopen() problems, we hope. The dbm database abstraction layer had the mode flag for dba_open() brought into line with dbm_open(), which means "w" will not create a non-existent database (use "c" instead). The documentation has also been moved into its own repository, and the generated HTML documentation is included in the tar.gz instead of the SGML source.
Release Notes: More bug fixes, including many in the OCI8 module, and an important fix for fgets() on socket connections. Also added support for PCRE (Perl-compatible Regular Expressions library), t1lib (PostScript Type-1 fonts with GD), and mhash.
Release Notes: Version 3.0.8 includes a number of bug fixes, including glibc-2.1 related issues that caused previous versions not to work with RedHat 6.0. Also a lot of work on the oci8 Oracle module by Thies C. Arntzen, a bunch of optimizations by Sascha Schumann along with his cool new DBA module which makes it much easier to deal with different types of dbm file formats, plus quite a few other things.
Release Notes: A number of bug fixes, a tonne of RedHat and DSO related build fixes and a couple of new modules: WDDX, ASpell, along with a much improved Oracle OCI8 module. See the ChangeLog for the complete list of changes.
