Release Notes: This is a major release with many new features and enhancements. New features: composite primary key support, autocomplete control, sortable row, nested/drill-down editable subgrid, a column chooser, Excel mode, global theme and debug, two new great looking premium themes, a new row level permission function, and many bugfixes. The master detail feature has been massively enhanced. In the back-end, this release adds an SQL Server Native driver and DB2 DSN-less connectivity support.

It removes control validation logic for master/detail INLINE mode since this is no longer a limitation. It removes a redundant include statement in the datagrid class that was causing unnecessary errors in some systems.

Two advanced methods were introduced to let users who are familiar with the jqGrid colModel API to directly manipulate column array properties. "Method Chaining" is now possible. One of the main changes is that in the master detail grid, the master grid now prefills a detail grid with the value of the foreign key during data entry. (Users still have the option to override this default behavior.) One other exciting new feature is that the long-awaited editable subgrid is now supported. In addition, fields can now have default values by calling the set_col_default() method. This release also fixes a PostgreSQL and MS SQL driver bug which returned wrong serial and auto-increment data meta types during update operations.

Additionally, users can again use an SQL select statement to populate a dropdown menu when using select as the edit type. There are many other bugfixes.
