phpPackage

phpPackage is a simple Perl script used to automatically build distribution packages for PHP software. phpPackage automatically builds tar.gz, tar.bz2, and zip packages for files with .php, .php3, and .php4 extensions from a project directory containing .php files.

    Release Notes: This release fixes a bug that prevented proper generation of bzip2 archives for .php4 files on platforms whose version of tar doesn't support the -j flag.

      Release Notes: This release adds support for a "version" tag in source files which is automatically replaced by the VERSION argument from the command line. The creation of bzip2 archives is now supported on systems whose versions of tar don't support the -j flag.
