Projects / RTK

RTK (Ruckus Tool Kit) is a high-performance, Perl-based, dynamic, content-generation system. It provides a nearly transparent bridge between HTML-based code pages and traditional CGI-based systems. It has been designed to automatically take advantage of existing systems, such as basic CGI, Apache's mod_perl, FastCGI, and SpeedyCGI, but does not require such systems for high-performance optimization.

With reach release this package becomes more stable and generally more suitable for use on major sites. I'm hoping that others in the Perl community will embrace this system as a viable alternatives to CMS's such as Joomla and Drupal.

Also, I realize that there are other rapid web development systems written in Perl such as Catalyst. Having used many of these I keep coming back to basic issues which RTK resolves such as:

Installation, Additional module requirements, and complexity.
