Release Notes: The safekeep account now uses /bin/bash instead of /sbin/nologin to make it possbile to deploy and manage the SSH keys needed for the backup process. rdiff-backup is invoked with the "--force" option when trimming old data, since there are cases where there can be multiple deltas outstanding. A number of logging bugs have been fixed, so now the logs should look a bit better. Some documentation improvements were made.
Release Notes: Client configuration files have been moved to /etc/safekeep/backup.d, and have the extension ".backup". A new global configuration file has been added in /etc/safekeep/safekeep.conf, and a number of command line options have been deprecated and moved there. SafeKeep now knows of the user under which the backup will execute, making it possible to better deploy keys, avoid the need to invoke safekeep(1) via sudo(8), and execute the backup as root if need be. Relative paths now have more intuitive behavior. A critical race (which can cause data loss) has been fixed.
