speedupd is a daemon that performs maintenance tasks on the PHP syslog viewer's database. These tasks include optimizing searches by updating cache data, log rotation, and archiving older data so that it takes up less room on the disk.

    Release Notes: Empty logs tables are no longer rotated. The config file now accepts . and - in hostnames. Auto-reconnect for MySQL connections is now enabled.

      Release Notes: Some major code reorganization and refactoring was undertaken. Over 500 lines of code were eliminated by using libconfuse and libdaemon. Those libraries hopefully take care of daemonization and config file parsing better than the old code did and will make maintenance easier.
