SUMO Access Manager is a security system for PHP Web applications that can be added using only one line of code. Administrators can manage authentication and authorization for users, groups, and security policies with easy, all through an intuitive Web based interface. You can create users that can authenticate their password via LDAP, MySQL internal users, MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle generic users tables, and via Google Mail account.

Release Notes: The network module was rewritten for better scalability. More coherence was added into the user interface. The software is now fully compatible with Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. Migration to PHP 5.3/6.0 has started. A lot of SQL queries have been optimized to simplify the PHP code and improve speed. The SQL code is now strictly ANSI standard and runs correctly into all supported databases. UTF-8 support was improved, so a lot of characters with accents are allowed. Some system notifications were added.
Release Notes: This release adds support for external password user authentication (aka DataSources) through Joomla. You can check your users' passwords via a Joomla database table. It has a partially rewritten Network module, permissions support on modules, and some system notifications. It updates the "IP to country" database, updates the ADOdb database abstraction layer to v.5.09, and has speed improvements. It fixes several bugs on the console. It fixes the theme path function.
