TeXstudio is a fully featured LaTeX editor. It is designed to make writing LaTeX documents as easy and comfortable as possible. It features an integrated PDF viewer with (almost) word-level synchronization, live inline preview, advanced syntax highlighting, and live checking of references, citations, LaTeX commands, spelling, and grammar.

    Release Notes: This release adds text case operations, new options for dictionary paths or file loading in the editor, improved PDF synchronization, a list of recent sessions, and new cwl files. There are many bug fixes.

      Release Notes: This release fixes several bugs introduced in 2.6.4, especially the failing home/end keys while the embedded PDF viewer is enabled, and Mac compatibility.

        Release Notes: This release brings several small improvements and bugfixes. Installed packages are scanned and listed in the completion list. The PDF viewer supports basic annotations.. The log panel was redesigned. There were also several speed-ups and fixes of bugs like disappearing tooltips.

          Release Notes: This is mostly a bugfix release. It makes user templates editable again, makes undoing to the last svn revision work again, more reliably finds LanguageTool and dictionaries, uses new versions of the qt/poppler libraries, recursively collapses the structure view, and aligns tabu/longtabu environments.

            Release Notes: This release improves various different aspects of TeXstudio. For example, all icons were converted to SVG and support Mac retina displays, the align columns command can be used to align other environments than tables, the dictionary for spell checking can be set on file level with magic comments, folded lines are stored in the session config, the cursor movement can be set to visual for rtl-languages and lrm-characters can be automatically inserted, the template management is more customizable, pweave files are syntax highlighted, scrolling is animated, and more.
