TNT is a packetradio terminal for use with hostmode TNC (or tfkiss) and ax25-kernel. It was originally developed by Mark Wahl. TNT works on Linux, Solaris and NetBSD. Actually is should also run on DEC Alpha, since most routines were converted to 64-Bit.

Release Notes: Patches from 1.1alpha6, X1J4 password support, Y2K-fixes, remotecmds allow for boxes and nodes, NLS-support (currently English, German, and French available), flat-install possible, shell-server functionality, bottom statusline changes, new documentation, MD2 improvements, new MD5, an updated AX25-interface, and tons of bugfixes and improvements. Further development is done by using CVS.
Release Notes: Multilanguage support for installation, remote- and onlinehelp, better handling of lockfiles, fixed moni_decomp, short binary packets, multiport support, security fixes, fixes for chat, hierarchical filestructure, lineoutbuffer problems fixed, cleaned up source-code, edit command for editing files, fixed PGP and GPG code. This version will now work with all Linux distributions, Kernel versions and C-libs.
