Release Notes: Shaders were improved for PC platforms. The secondary light source now uses the object's bump map. A problem where the Hangar tab was still visible in the Tactical tab in ships with turrets but no hangar was fixed. Incorrect color of the Repair and Reload buttons was fixed. A mine laying issue was fixed. The password field no longer allows the text to be copied from it with CTRL-c. Dueling players are now notified if the duel will not count towards their duel ratings. When autodocking is enabled, the text on the HUD now says "Docking..." instead of "Press the Activate key to dock."
Release Notes: Left and Right thumb buttons of the DualShock 4 controller on Android have been fixed to report as their proper buttons. Reduced network traffic for cases where the player is being damaged with multiple weapons at the same time. A fix for an iissue with Outer Hull Plate name. Improved high resolution asteroid LOD popping artifacts. Adds guild member login/out notifications. Fixes a problem when a capship owner launches from their capship directly from controlling a turret. All sectors are now running the new optimized code.
Release Notes: Some asteroid chunks were replaced with higher resolution models and textures on the Win/Mac/Linux versions. Mobile versions still use the older assets. Support for Oculus Rift HD was added. Oculus Rift is no longer required to be in mirror display mode. It should now auto-detect the secondary display. A crash bug when exiting early from the offline tutorial and attempting to log in was fixed.
Release Notes: Conquerable station sectors Bractus M-14, Latos I-8, and Pelatus C-12 are now running experimental code to test a solution to weapon hits sometimes not registering. Any problems with these sectors should be reported through support tickets. The virtual mouse (when used through a gamepad controller) on mobile devices now highlights the virtual keyboard button that was selected so multiple presses of 'A' on the gamepad will repeat the same action again.
Release Notes: Group owner's mines will no longer detonate on other group members if the mines were layed before the group was created. Mines will no longer detonate on a group member if the member joined the group while in the proximity of the mine. This release fixes Voice Chat cross-talk.
Release Notes: Trident Type M maximum shield strength has been bumped to 40k. The player-owned capship shield repair timer now resets after each hit, like the NPC shields. Group health and sector list health now include shield strength. Shield strength while manning a player-owned turret now shows the correct value. Repair guns no longer damage player-owned capship shields. Shields no longer look like they disappear when the capship pilot mans his or her own turret. This release fixes an infrequent Lua error which occurred when the capship pilot launched from his or her own capship.
Release Notes: Player-owned capships now have shields that work the same way as NPC capship shields. Ships stored in capships can now have their ammo refilled by the capship owner without having to launch and dock with the capship.
Release Notes: Ship improvements, a new Raptor UDV ship type, and major changes to Serco/Itani faction standing. Captains of player-owned capships can now launch in their own fighters. Capships are now persistent. Many other changes were made.
Release Notes: Collision damage calculation now works more like the 2012 version, but retaining the improvements to threading, etc. Concussion Railguns can now be reloaded. Collisions of less than 50HP of damage are ignored. A new "Power Cell Blaster" is available at a Research station. The Xang Xi Self-Propelled Concussion Mine can now be reloaded. On Android, missing textures on improved ETC1 assets when the shaders are disabled were fixed. Graphics for Tegra4 and Adreno 320+ were improved. Auto-detection of Android-based consoles was improved.
Release Notes: A new Vulture variant is now available at the Corvus capitol. Players' ships now count towards the cargo of capships when they dock. If not enough cargo space is available, the player cannot dock. Capship owners can now give their ship a custom name. The custom name is displayed in the upper right area of the capship menu. Use the /renameship "New Name" command to change it. You must be piloting the ship to use the command. A GUI interface is forthcoming. Names are validated by the server the same way character names are. A bug that prevented some news posts from being viewable was fixed.
