vMovieDB is a movie collections manager for the Gnome desktop. You can play selected movies with your favorite video player, manage various types of information for your movies (title, year, media type, quality, subtitles, location, genre, and movie image), export your movies to an HTML or text document, and search for a selected movie on ImDB.com. It has a fast and light database based on XML.

Release Notes: This version will be the last release from the 0.1.x series. The new features introduced in this release are the ability to set an action to be performed when movie list item receives a double click, and the ability to show or hide movies listed under the "Adult" tag. There are also some search dialog improvements (the popup menu finally works, and there is a new layout of the dialog itself). This release includes major code cleanup and some bugfixes.
Release Notes: This version includes movie tag categorization, the ability to show movies from a selected year or genre, movie information box enhancents and a slight redesign, movie image viewer enhancements, and a user manual accessible through the application help menu and available online. Movie list columns have been rearranged in a new more intuitive way, and a gConf schema file is available. The Bulgarian translation has been updated, the rating widget is improved, and there are bugfixes and code cleanups.
Release Notes: This version introduce a lot of new features, code cleanups, bugfixes, and a new library called libvmdbwidgets.la that holds the custom rating widget and the custom rating cell renderer. You can rate your movies, create comments for your movies, and view movie images in actual size using the movie image viewer. There are command line options to export to a text or HTML document, as well as a Bulgarian translation.
Release Notes: This release fixes a problem with locale loading and a problem with vMovieDB.desktop file installation. Now vMovieDB should appear under Applications->Sound & Video.
