Release Notes: An 'option routers' was added to dhcp-build to point to the DHCP master admin_ip. Some logic was added to 'nodebuild' to look for a mounted /proc in the virtual node image. Several bugs in 'nodeupdate' were fixed, along with a bug in the warewulfd init script that was prematurely setting the status of nodes to 'READY'. A bug where 'nodeadd' was forgetting to add the 'enable' field to node.conf was fixed, and it does not try to enable a clust_dev if it differs from admin_dev. Some weirdness in the warewulf-node RPM was fixed, and a binary 'strings' was added to the virtual node filesystem.
Release Notes: This is a development release that incorporates a lot of changes that bring Warewulf in the direction that it needs to be going. The warewulf-init init.d script has been built to set up the node environment and hardware/drivers. RPMs have been configured to be 4 packages (warewulf, warewulf-node, warewulf-nodefs, and warewulf-isokit). The ability to try to mount any local node partitions at node boot has been added.
Release Notes: Fixes for bugs in the following tools: wwjobs, nodes, nodeupdate, and nodeconf, a new ability to integrate various kernel args into the node build process, and some minor GUI tweaks to nodes.
Release Notes: The entire monitoring subsystem was written to use UDP for node stats, and TCP for user clients to communicate with daemon. This feature will allow Warewulf to scale much better, and have less system overhead.
Release Notes: This release adds many minor bugfixes, some enhancements, and support for the Sun Gridengine and Ganglia.
Release Notes: Apostrophe parsing in masterconf has been fixed. dhcp-build has been fixed so that it works with Red Hat 8's version of DHCPD (V3). A bug in 'nodeconf' in admin boot device selection has been fixed. There is some logic to help with defining the network using IP and netmask, and an RPM spec file.
Release Notes: The installer will now create /etc/profile.d login scripts for warewulf enviornment. The following functions were added: warewulf.img check when starting 'nodes', disabling and enabling user access to nodes, and some logic to the configuration tools (with regard to single or multiple NIC's). Fixes were made for a bug in 'nodes' when adding a node, undef'ing the mac variable, a bug in nodeupdate regarding [OK] when not, and various GUI issues with 'nodes'.
Release Notes: This first official release includes rewrites of several of the tools, to make the administration more scalable and easier to build and operate. The most significant feature enhancements include using Etherboot as the primary boot mechanism for the cluster nodes and several new tools, including a GUI nodes tool that facilitates the processes of adding and configuring nodes to the cluster. Several issues in the node filesystem image have been fixed, and several packages have been upgraded to fix security vulnerabilities (not that it is critical, as they should reside on a private subnet).
Release Notes: This version fixes several bugs in the update-wulves code with regard to having multiple node groups configured for the cluster and multiple network interfaces, and fixes the Warewulf GUI so that it resizes better.
Release Notes: This version fixes a bug in the GUI regarding flickering on refresh, adds an "at a glance" cluster view in the GUI, and fixes several other GUI bugs.
