XawTV is a simple Xaw-based TV program which uses the bttv driver or video4linux. It also contains various command-line utilities for grabbing images and AVI movies, tuning in TV stations, etc.

Release Notes: This release adds a lot of internal changes which are required for the new features. Due to that, several things have broken. Some aren't fixed yet, but will be available again in the future. Some features are gone forever. The new features include MPEG2 software decoding, support for DVB cards (including budget cards), and a reworked configuration framework. The dropped features include overlay without the Xvideo extension and switching of the display resolution.
