Release Notes: This release improves the compatibility with Java 1.3. The internal Servlet container is more compliant with the HTTP standard. Several bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: Support for default values has been implemented, along with the _list and _set types. JMeter support has been added, and NetBeans integration has been extended. XIFF, the XINS front-end framework, was improved further. Some bugs, including JMX-related issues, were resolved.
Release Notes: Two new targets were added: "xins eclipse", which will create the Eclipse project files, and "xins maven", which will create the pom.xml file for the API. It's now possible to share types between APIs. A manual of the XINS Front-end Framework has been added. This release also contains a few bugfixes.
Release Notes: Beside some bugfixes, this release introduces dependency between parameters based on a parameter value. Logging and conditional redirection are now correct in the front-end calling convention.
Release Notes: The target VM can now be set. When using Java 5 or Java 6, generated code now uses generics. The JMX-exposed functionality has been extended with performance stats, bootstrap-settings, and runtime-settings; this includes the Log4J settings. A few bugs were resolved.
Release Notes: Five small bugs were fixed. One minor incompatibility was introduced: generated data elements on the server side are now public classes, instead of package-private.
Release Notes: This release adds the _hex type. The XINS front-end framework is now part of the core library. A new demo name, "fileupload", has been added. It's now possible to call an API using the network (in JVM call). Some bugs were also fixed.
Release Notes: This release contains the same bugfixes which were done in XINS 1.4.1. XINS now has JMX support to manage the API. A new Ant task that can be used to call a XINS API has been added. Another Ant task used to execute a XINS target has been added. Several new targets were added that allow you to execute some tools on your API (such as PMD, java2html, cobertura, cvs change log, checksyle, and more).
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. Starting the API no longer freezes if no runtime properties file is specified. Functional error codes are logged at the INFO level even if several CAPI jar files are in the classpath. The copy-nb-files target used to copy NetBeans files for existing projects now works.
Release Notes: The main new features are automatic communication protocol detection, asynchronous requests, generation of documentation in OpenDocument format, support for including files (e.g. HTML) in the WAR file, and an extensive Pet Store demo. Additionally, both the compile-time performance and the runtime performance of XINS have been tuned further. Some bugs were fixed.
