    Release Notes: Handling of nested bean properties was seriously broken, and has now been fixed.

      Release Notes: XmlConfig now throws only XmlConfigExceptions and IOExceptions. All other exceptions are caught and wrapped inside XmlConfigExceptions using the exception cause attribute introduced in Java 1.4.0. XmlConfig no longer works with Java versions that precede Java 1.4.0.
